Illness and Misadventure
Illness and Misadventure
Illness - A Doctor's certificate is produced on the next day of school attendance if a student is absent due to illness. This must be submitted to the Curriculum Coordinator or directly to the Leader of Learning with a completed Illness/Misadventure Form. The presentation of a medical certificate will normally constitute an application to undertake a substitute task.
Misadventure - Misadventure is any unforeseen event which prevents students from undertaking a task or hinders them from completing it on time. It is the responsibility of the student to inform the Leader of Learning of the absence or lateness, and its reason, as soon as they know there is a problem.
